Since beginning my journey into the field of massage therapy in 1999,
I have worked with hundreds of clients and given thousands of massages.
As a Maryland State Licensed and Board Certified Massage Therapist, I provide restorative massage & therapeutic bodywork for stress management, pain management, recovery from injury, sports performance, emotional balance, and general wellness. Massage clients can expect a safe, hygienic, professional, and highly nurturing environment where they are genuinely cared about and skillfully massaged according to their specific needs.
Some of the integrative therapies I use with clients include:
- Swedish Massage
- Deep Tissue
- Trigger Point Therapy
- Myofascial Release
- Muscle Release Technique
- Hot Stones
- Prenatal Massage
- Medical Massage
In addition to my training at the Baltimore School of Massage, I attended several community colleges focusing on studies in visual and performing arts and creative writing, and later graduated from UMBC with bachelor degrees in Social Work and Spanish.
I am currently pursuing an MSW degree at the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Social Work.
I completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification in Vrindavan, India in 2008.
I love to travel and learn about different cultures, languages, music, art and healing practices.
I lived in Alicante, Spain for ten months and Fes, Morocco for two months in 2010.
I enjoy helping people, animals, and the planet in various creative and practical ways and find that massage therapy is one way I can ease suffering, promote peace, and inspire health.
I have a pit-bull side-kick named Tuesday who I picked-up off the highway in 2013 and acquired a mortgage for.
Just as I expand my massage therapy skills and business practice knowledge through continued education, I consistently work to improve myself personally and professionally and aspire to support others in being their best, most healthy, creative, and productive selves.
